History Festival 2018-2021
Background
The History Festival is one of South Australia’s largest community events and promotes the state’s wonderful collections, places and stories through an amazing range of history related activities. The Festival, which began in 2004 as SA History Week, has grown each year; eventually becoming the month-long festival which attracts over 400 different event organisers from all around South Australia. The event is held in every corner of the state.
What We Did
We developed a comprehensive PR/media plan to create as much media buzz throughout the month long event in metropolitan and regional South Australia. Media targeted were national, metropolitan and regional print, radio and TV.
Our Result
The History Festivals attendance to events has increased since BPR was engaged. With over $1.5 million in coverage year on year achieved.
