Paper Tiger
Background
BPR were appointed to launch Paper Tiger, a new Southeast Asian fusion restaurant which opened its doors in Adelaide’s East End on 14 April 2023. The Penny Hospitality restaurant draws inspiration from all the flavours of Southeast Asia including Vietnamese, Indonesian, Thai, Singapore and Malaysian cuisines and delivers it in a fun and electric atmosphere.
What we did
BPR hosted a successful launch party, attended by multiple social influencers, local society, local business, and media. We put together a tailored PR strategy, which included a VIP guest list to invite to the official launch. This ranged from local press, social media influencers, food bloggers, local broadcast media, as well as local businesses in the surrounding areas. BPR liaised and pitched stories to a wide range of media which included being featured in restaurant online guides, food features and Chef profiles.

BPR achieved a total PR Value of $67.8K
A key highlight for the agency, was further securing a page feature in The Advertiser about the expanding business of Penny Hospitality along with further mentions in The Sunday Mail as well. With additional stories secured in multiple online and print media, BPR created a localised viral buzz about Paper Tiger. Just on social media alone, BPR reached an audience of over 770,000.
